In the edition of 2,500 posters, the name is printed in letterpress at the top, on a grey background. Neither this poster nor its motif have been reproduced on other posters.
Picasso had fond memories of his experience with lithographic tracing paper on other prints, so he opted for this same procedure for the twelve colours that make up this poster. Fernand Mourlot says that the master was so pleased with the results that, unusually for him, he expressed his satisfaction on receiving the proofs.
