Interpretive representation of an engraving by Charles Sorlier based on one of the preliminary sketches for the large canvas “The Wrestling of Jacob and the Angel”. This poster was printed on the occasion of an exhibition of the important collection donated by Mr. and Mrs. Marc Chagall to the French nation which took place at the Louvre Museum in Paris. This exceptional gift is permanently on display at the Musée National du Message Biblique Marc Chagall in Nice.
