Descripción

We consider this poster to be one of Picasso’s most fascinating works, for the way he recreated the female figure, showing us, through an organic-cubist language, all the attributes of femininity.

Picasso turns the body in such a way that, although the figure is lying down, the viewer can see the head, arms, torso, breasts, buttocks, genitals and legs, as if she were standing on a counter or in a display case. All on the plane of the divan and a yellow background, divided into two parts, forming a geometric figure.

The color scheme used is harmonious, emphasizing through light and dark tones the different parts of the female body.
