Printed poster for a solo exhibition of prints at the Galerie Ponchettes in Nice.
This album brings together Chagall’s production of twelve gouaches on the theme of the Côte d’Azur. Chagall specially engraved for this work a chapter house and a dead end (reproduced on the poster) which accompany the text by Mr. Jean Adhemar. Chagall took these two lithographs to become “La Grande Corniche” and “La Baie des Anges”.
