In 1954, the Maeght Gallery organised an exhibition of Chagall’s work on the theme of “Paris”.
For the exhibition catalogue, the journal “Derrière le Miroir”, nos. 66-67-68, Chagall composed 9 colour lithographs and 2 black and white ones.
