Original poster. Catalogued as such by Fernand Mourlot, who made the print following Picasso’s instructions to use his drawing entitled “Sailor Rolling a Cigarette” as the subject for the design. Picasso made this drawing in Paris in 1907. It belonged to the Yvonne Zervos Collection.
Neither this poster nor its motif have been reproduced in other posters.
