Interpretive representation of a Lithography made by Charles Sorlier from the left section of an original Lithography taken from “Daphnis and Chloe”, the masterpiece of colour Lithography that Chagall created as a favour to his publisher and friend, Tériade (1958-1961).
This poster was printed for an exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris, which featured publications and works by artists associated with Tériade and the magazine Verve.
