An interpretive representation of an engraving by Charles Sorlier, based on one of the preliminary sketches for the large canvas “Jacob Wrestling with the Angel.” This poster was printed for an exhibition of the important collection donated by Mr. and Mrs. Marc Chagall to the French nation, held at the Louvre Museum in Paris. This exceptional gift is on permanent display at the Marc Chagall National Museum of the Biblical Message in Nice.
