Interpretive representation of a Lithography by Charles Sorlier.
This plate was inspired by a small original black and white Lithography dating from 1959 that appears in the work Designs for the Bible published by Editions Verve.
After making a considerable enlargement of this work, the artist developed a colour scheme and thus created the model for this plate.
