This print is from the book “Daphne and Chloe.” This book is one of Marc Chagall’s most important graphic works. Because of the quality, format and number of Lithographys it contains, it is a work of notable importance, which can undoubtedly be placed at the top of the list of illustrated books of our time. It took three years of work by both the artist and the printer.
